The Sikh Community organised an event in the Houses of Parliament to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the Guru Granth Sahib. The event was very well attended. Lord Sheikh spoke at the event and referred to the similarities of Islam and Sikhism and needs to foster peace and harmony between the various communities.
