Lord Sheikh is a patron of the British Muslim Heritage Centre and he hosted a dinner in the House of Lords for the Heritage Centre. Guests at the dinner included Muslims as well as non-Muslims and the attendees came from different parts of the country. Lord Sheikh referred to the objectives of the Muslim Heritage Centre which is to promote the positive and true message of the Muslim faith and congratulated the management and volunteers at the Centre who undertake to promote harmony and peace between various racial and religious groups. The British Muslim Heritage Centre has achieved a great deal but it wants to do more to escalate its activities and they do need support in the carrying out of this commendable work.
