The Bangladeshi High Commission held an event titled “Outstanding Achievement Awards” in order to commemorate the achievements of British-Bangladeshi students in their exams. Lord Sheikh spoke at the event and in his speech he emphasised the importance of education.

Lord Sheikh was also asked to present several awards to the winners.
