Lord Sheikh led a Parliamentary delegation to Azerbaijan including several other members of the House of Lords. The delegation met the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and also had meetings with business leaders. Lord Sheikh discussed the relationship between the United Kingdom and Azerbaijan and stressed that the UK is very much interested in expanding business links between the two countries.
