Lord Sheikh visited the Fatih University in Istanbul and had discussions on education and allied subjects with the Rector, Prof. Dr. Oguz Borat and the Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Talip Alp. The matter of education is very dear to Lord Sheikh as he used to be a visiting University lecturer. Lord Sheikh was presented with a beautiful Turkish hand-painted plate.  At the meeting Prof. Salim al-Hassani (Chairman of the Foundation for Science in Manchester) of the United Kingdom was also present. Lord Sheikh was again accompanied by Dr Cem Erbil.
