Lord Sheikh spent a day in Ankara where he met senior Turkish politicians which include the following; Mustafa Isen (Secretary General of the AK Party), Dr. Yildrim Ramazanoglu (Chief Adviser of the Prime Minister), M. Hamdi Sengel (Advisor to the Prime Minister), G. Cem Isik (First Secretary, Foreign Policy Specialist), Ozlem Turkone (Deputy for Istanbul). and Dr. Ismail Safi (Founding Member of AK Party). Dr Cem Erbil of the Dialogue Society in London accompanied Lord Sheikh to the various meetings.
