Lord Sheikh hosted a dinner in the House of Lords for the delegates who attended the Takaful Summit 2009. The Summit was an international event and the delegates came from different parts of the world. The dinner and the Summit were organised by Mr Iqbal Asaria CBE of Afkar Consulting. During his speech at the dinner Lord Sheikh talked about considerable growth in the Takaful market and the need to train scholars and staff and also the efficient working of the organisations providing Takaful covers.
