Lord Sheikh was asked to speak at the International Forum on the Bangladesh and Indian Oil and Gas Industry.

Lord Sheikh spoke about transparency in business affairs and the need to be truthful in all aspects of our dealings. He also stressed the importance of arriving at win-win situations in business transactions where both parties benefit. He then referred to the need for there to be teamwork between the management and the staff of an organisation and the importance of producing the right products and services which provide value for money.

Lord Sheikh also made the point that it is important that business leaders do have a vision and be innovative in order to do better than the competitors. As a number of attendees were businessmen undertaking work overseas talked about the provisions of the Bribery Act and its importance in the undertaking of business operations overseas.
